La Petite Mort es el nuevo lanzamiento de Super Muñeca, el proyecto musical de Lora Grigorova. Es un homenaje a su personaje favorito de la cultura mexicana: La Catrina o Muerte.

El estilo de Super Muñeca se caracteriza por una mezcla de música electrónica, beats urbanos y ritmos de culturas que han influenciado su vida.

La fascinación de Lora por el personaje de La Catrina nació cuando conoció la serie de los años 80s “La Hora Marcada”, en donde en cada capítulo aparece la muerte de manera inesperada representada por una elegante y seductora mujer vestida de negro.

Años después, cuando Lora estaba viviendo en México, pudo presenciar las tradiciones del Día de los Muertos. Se sorprendió por la relación que el pueblo mexicano tiene con la muerte, cambiando su perspectiva respecto a un tema tratado de forma tan triste por la cultura europea.

La Petite Mort es un track que incorpora el ritmo de la cumbia con una melodía dulce característica de Super Muñeca, retratando a la muerte como algo seductor y misterioso.

"La Petite Mort" is the new release of Super Muñeca, the music project of Lora Grigorova. It is a tribute to her favourite character from Mexican culture: La Catrina or Death.

Super Muñeca's style is characterised by a mix of electronic music, urban beats, and rhythms from cultures that have influenced her life.

Lora's fascination with the character of La Catrina began when she watched the 80s series "La Hora Marcada", where death appeared unexpectedly in each episode represented by an elegant and seductive woman dressed in black.

Years later, when Lora was living in Mexico, she witnessed the traditions of the Day of the Dead. She was surprised by the relationship that the Mexican people have with death, changing her perspective on a topic that is treated so sadly by European culture.

"La Petite Mort" is a mid-tempo track that mixes the rhythm of cumbia with a sweet melody characteristic of Super Muñeca, portraying death as something seductive and mysterious.
